Homemade Granola.

Buying pre-packaged granolas are never minimally made. There are so many additives that make them keep their shelf life and sweeter tastes that really aren’t necessary! So, I decided to make my own granola today. It will last 2 weeks and I still have enough ingredients to make another batch or two.

Homemade Granola

2 cups raw, whole rolled oats

1/2 cup raw nuts, chopped [walnuts]

1/2 cup seeds [pumpkin seeds]

1/2 cup dried fruits [1/4 raisins, 1/4 dried cranberries]

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 tbsp coconut oil

3 tbsp raw, pure honey

What I did:

I started by preheating the oven to 350 degrees. I got all of the ingredients in a bowl and used my hands to mix it up! Once it was all mixed, I put the mixture on a baking sheet and baked it for 10 minutes. I went ahead and let it dry, then put it in a container. It will last for up to 2 weeks (that is, if I don’t eat it all first).
